In May of 2009, at the National Healing Consultative Forum in Kariba the National Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (“NANGO”), the Christian Alliance (ZCA), the Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum, the Counselling Services Unit (“CSU”), Womens Coalition of Zimbabwe (WCoZ), other civil society organizations and the Heads of Christian Denominations, comprising the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (“EFZ”), the Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops’ Conference (“ZCBC”), and the Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) established the Church and Civil Society Forum (“CCSF”) to facilitate national reconciliation and healing in a coordinated and harmonized manner.
CCSF is a coalition of Church and civil society organizations, whose partners assigned CCSF’s day-to-day operations to NANGO and the oversight and general Management role to a small group of selected partners, the Management Committee.
